7 Ways to Make Your Mother’s Day

It looks like for many states, one of the biggest holidays will be spent at home. And for many of us it may require us to be “social distancing” from our mothers. If you are able to spend time with her cherish it for COVID-19 has taught us many lessons and one is to cherish each other because life is truly short. Whether you’re spending time with mom or not able to, I have listed a few suggestions that could make her special day.

1.     DIY At-Home Spa

There’s nothing like a relaxing spa where you can just chill and be at peace. Majority of us aren’t able to visit spas due to the mandatory shut down. So how can you bring it to her?

1.     Set the mood- download or stream spa-like sounds to set the tone for the day/evening.

2.     Pick a great mask that suits your skin type.

3.     Cut up some cold cucumbers to apply to your eyes.

4.     Pick a chill spot or warm bath to make it even more spa-like.

2.     Cook or pick up her favorite meal

A perfect dining in restaurant would be perfect right now but with this COVID-19 and social distancing it might not be the best option. Whatever is mom’s favorite meal, you could either cook it or save yourself some time and pick it up from one of her favorite restaurants.

3.     Mommy and Me set up

Your mom might want to relax with you and the best thing is to ensure you have the perfect items in stock. Try out a hand and cuticle treatment along with a pedi foot treatment and make it even more extravagant with a hydrojelly mask

4.     At home Movie

Pop some popcorn, pick your mom’s favorite movie. Light a candle and enjoy

5.     Flowers

You can order her favorite bouquet of flowers with a note attached to it. She wouldn’t even expect it because you could have it delivered right to her doorstep!

6.     Gift Cards

Some moms just have everything. My mom fits in that category and every year it gets more difficult to buy things for someone who has it all. If you know her favorite store(s) and restaurant(s), Spa, you could always order either multiple E-gift cards to be emailed to her or pick them up if they are open. This way she can get what she wants when she wants them.

7.     Skin Care System

Skin is in and our mothers aren’t getting any younger. My mom wants to look young as long as she can but she knows that her skin care routine is important. I have put her on an anti-aging product line to help rejuvenate and restore her skin while maintaining it.

These are just a few things to bring light to your mom on Mother’s Day during such a hard time right now. Bring your creative side out and make it GRAND!!
