Ombré Brows vs Microblading

We get this question all the time….what’s the difference between Ombre Brows and Microblading. Although microblading is more heard of doesn’t necessarily mean its better. Continue reading to find out the difference of both services.

First, both of these services are considered “semi-permanent” which means its not technically permanent. if done correctly, both services can lasts anywhere from 1 year to 3 years.

In Micrbolading, there is a handheld tool to “carve” small cuts into the skin mimicking the “hair stroke look”. Whereas Ombre brows are done using a machine and gives a powdery makeup look.

The Ombre Powder technique is a bit less invasive than that of microblading.

Microblading is not optimal for every skin type. Oily and acne prone skin will have a more difficult time getting a cleaner look with microblading. Once microblading fades it looks like a ombre but not as clean or desirable.

Although microblading has been around longer, more people are opting for Ombre brows and are much happier with the results and the longevity of this service to their brows.
